Parks & Multi-Use Trail Projects

Civil Engineering Associates, LLC provides engineering services for parks and multi-use trail projects. CEA works closely with its clients in the planning and designing faze to completely a successful project. Our work with various client include preparing grants, preliminary design, preparation of construction documents, and construction management. We have worked with in municipalities in the past to create successful projects that include walking trails, multi-use trails, aquatic fun parks, baseball fields, and various park facilities.

A List of past and current projects include:

• City of Jonesboro, Turtle Creek Greenway Sections 1-6- Designed various portions of the trail and a pedestrian bridge using funds from Arkansas Recreation Trail grant and safe route to school. The trail connected Allan Park Community Center to the local elementary school and mall. Total construction of Each Phase Including the bridge was $0.825 million
• City of Jonesboro, Crowley's Ridge Scenic Byway - Design a Multiuse trail through the urban corridor known as Matthews avenue, Construction Budget for the project is $1.8 Million
• City of Norfork, Trails for Life trail. This included grant preparation and design of approximately 1/4 mile of trail through Arkansas Trails for Life
• City of Greenvile, MO - Designed and managed construction of 2.2 mile multi-use trail connecting the City of Greenville with the US army Corp of Engineers Old Greenville campsite. Total construction cost estimate of the project was $370,000.00.
• City of Cotton Plant & The Community of Wood Berry- Designed and managed playground facilities for the local residents to utilize. Construction budgets for each project were $30,000.00

Drainage Projects

Civil Engineering Associates currently provides simple solutions to complex problems in the area of storm water runoff and floodplain management. CEA has worked with municipalities to help identify and mitigate flooding issues associated with 0.1% annual storm or more commonly known as the 100 year storm. CEA has designed retention structure to help reduce the peak runoff downstream. All modeling performed by CEA is approved by FEMA's mapping program. CEA has help prepare and receive approval from FEMA for Letter of Map Revision, No Rise Certifications, and Letter of Map Amendments. CEA has provided numerous successful site plans for storm water runoff that help clients meet the various local, state, and federal requirements. Below please find a list of past successful projects.
